Wheelie Campers are proud to offer Australia’s most inclusive supported travel programmes utilising wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV).
Our accessible Travel Consultants are knowledgeable and have a deep understanding of the challenges involved whilst travelling with a disability. We pre-check accessible accommodation used for our short term accommodation stays to ensure there are no surprises on arrival. We work with entertainment and tour operators to fully understand their service and help to make the activities accessible.
Wheelie Campers offer discounts for NDIS participants and work with support co-ordinators, plan managers and participants to help achieve their goals. Improving confidence and capacity building is at the heart of many of our programmes. Participants are encouraged to be involved in all stages of planning the supported travel experiences. This can aid with confidence building, decision making skills, cooking skills, and can help to build confidence for independent living. Although we have many locations and activities we have tried before, we are always looking to do new things. This can be a road trip, visit an otherwise inaccessible place or activity. Pathways to Mental Health supports people to realise their potential by providing a natural environment and high standards of care. They offer many different pathways to wellness. Support take place on a farm and includes equine assisted therapy, animal assisted therapy, nature based therapy and more traditional CBT / room based therapy. They are providers of fully accessible, self-contained NDIS Short term accommodation (STA). A personalised and all-inclusive therapy break can be enjoyed at no out of pocket expenses to you.
